Eidos in Trouble

As the next Tomb Raider and Hitman games are delayed again, Eidos employees have reason to fear that the company may no longer exist by the end of this year. If the company cannot find financial funding by means of investors or takeover by April 22, 2005, "the adequacy of the Company's working capital facilities cannot be assured." It's not bad enough that we have to hear about the violence in video games in our magazines, newspapers and courts. Now the commercials are gearing up to run.. although I don't know who is going to run them other than the MediaWise website that produced them.

Stargate SG-1 Website Launched

The official JoWood website for Stargate SG-1: The Alliance has been launched. It contains information about the game as well as some screenshots. Ubisoft - Who will own it?

If you haven't heard, 5 days before Christmas, EA purchased 22% of Ubisoft without warning. No one knew this was going to happen, not even Ubisoft. Ubisoft commented that they were considering this action as hostile.

IWNation Closed?

It would appear that the cost of service may have caught up with IWNation. IWNation (iwnation.com) used to be a number 1 stop for mappers and modders of Call of Duty. However, today you'll find the site to be missing in action.
