Ghost Recon 2 for PC Cancelled

Ubisoft has announced that Ghost Recon 2 for the PC will not be released. However there is a light at the end of the tunnel... Ghost Recon 3 for the PC will be released sometime in the last quarter of 2005. More info below

New Beta Patch for The Audigy 2 Series Sound Cards

Creative Labs has a new beta driver for the Sound Audigy 2 or Audigy 2 ZS series of sound cards that will enable the EAX 4.0 support and hardware-based audio antialiasing.

It looks like Activision will release a patch for the Doom 3 that will enable these enhancments for Doom 3 Resurrection.

Might be worth a shot.

Say Goodbye to Force Feedback

Reuters reports that Sony has been granted a patent for technology that will theoretically send sensory experiences directly into the brain..... hmmmm I wonder what they're going to call it?  I might just pass on this tech. However you can get more info on this below.

Big Raid in the UK

There was a raid in the early morning hours in Staffordshire UK on Sunday. Anti-piracy officials raided a hideout for illegal traders at a Staffordshire car boot sale, leading to the confiscation of 20,000 illegally copied discs with an estimated street value of over half a million pounds (about 1 million U.S. dollars). Two people were rung up on offences against the Trade Marks Act of 1994 and the case is currently proceeding with the offenders facing possible prosecution. Full story below.

@War has closed it's doors to the masses once and for all. There only reason I have isn't really worth posting here however if you're interested you can view it here. However is it an April Fools joke?

Pariha - New Trailer Out

If you haven't been watching there is another interesting game coming out that might just be worth watching. The big thing about this game is that it will come out with it's own map making tools, which I think is cool. Anyway - The Game Pariha has a new Trailer showing off some of their interesting weapons. Ubisoft Announces Return of Might and Magic Brand

Just read over at Ubisoft that they will be reintroducing the Might and Magic Brand of games starting with Heroes of Might and Magic V which will most likely be showing up on shelves in early 2006. You can read more about it here.
