Google sued over print library project

Since its beginnings late last year, Google's ambitious plans to digitize the libraries of four universities and the book collection of the New York Public Library have run into a few snags. Punkbuster Interview

Parents supply computer games illegally

Parents are supplying restricted or banned computer games to their teenage children, a report released yesterday shows.
Almost two-thirds of the 15- to 17-year-olds surveyed had played games which were either R18 or banned outright.

BloodRayne Licensed Clothing and Knives Coming

Majesco Entertainment recently announced that it has signed new licensing agreements for their intellectual property, BloodRayne. Ripple Junction will make a series of branded clothing (no word if BloodRayne's leather corset will be included) and United Cutlery will be making a set of collectable blades designed to look like those worn by BloodRayne in game.

Microsoft Sued Over Halo 2 Special-Edition Case

Glud & Marstrand (G&M) recently filed for legal action against Microsoft. The Danish company alleges that Microsoft violated a nondisclosure agreement by revealing their metal game case technology to a rival firm. The Halo 2 special-edition packaging was made using this design.... [ There's more ]
