Splash Damage, London, recruiting for Doom 3 engine game

In a continuation of our successful collaboration with id Software and Activision we have started production of a new full game based on the cutting-edge Doom 3 engine.

Splash Damage is a London-based independent game studio. We have completed work on Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. The game has won several Game of the Year and Editor’s Choice awards and has been nominated for a BAFTA.

"Duffy said that nearly everything in Doom III was text file based so that should make it easy for mod makers to pretty much do whatever they want in the game. Yup... In the next year or two you should be seeing DOOM in a theater near you. Although still a rumor, Hollywood Reporter mentions that Warner Bros. has optioned the film.

"John Wells Prods. will reportedly produce the film with Lorenzo di Bonaventura taking the lead role in that endeavor. The tentative storyline for the DOOM III film will revolve around a space marine who bears witness to a scientific experiment that inadvertently opens up a gateway to hell while stationed on an iso...
