Modern Warfare fansite bashandslash.com recently reported that Infinity Ward is removing dedicated server functionality from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. With dedicated servers and the server browser that comes with them replaced with custom-built matchmaking, PC gamers will have an online experience functionally identical to console players. This afternoon, during a live BASH episode, who should turn up but Infinity Wards community manager: 402.

Fourzerotwo confirmed that there is No delay on PC for Modern Warfare 2.

You'll also have Prestige Mode in PC as well as lots of Steam support. Hopefully min specs will be soon

It seems no one knows if this is legitimate, however fileplanet is offering file reservation for subscribing members for a Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 demo. This could be a beta or  demo or a complete fake used to create more hype. However you must have a fileplanet subscription account in order to reserver your download.
