Mare Nostrum Mods for Red Orchestra

Mare Nostrum is a modification for Red Orchestra OstFront 41-45 that concentrates on adding both new playable forces and many new specially designed custom maps to play in. Aiming to bring the most realistic and exciting experience of the battles of the deserts of North Africa up to the invasions of Sicily and Italy and the Allied 'Road to Rome'.

Jack Thompson is not a good emailer

Apparently, Jack Thompson spends his afternoons sending complaints to websites that have anything good to say about the games produced by Rockstar. Grumpy, from Grumpy Gamer , got his hands on an advanced copy of the game Bully. He wrote a review that really didn't say anything bad about the game. Now JT is sending him hate mail.

I found a site that is offering up FPS Tournaments called Tournament.com . Making Games for the XBox

Microsoft has released a public beta of XNA Studio which is the programming base for making games for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Xbox 360. You will have to know your programming to make this work for you, but it's great to seea public release.

Garage Games is also trying to get in on this by releasing (eventually) a way to export from the torque engine to the XNA Studio platform.
