Painkiller Demo Coming

Battlefield 2

The Battlefield: 1942 series engine gets a serious update and Battlefield 2 is announced. IGN interviews producer Scott Evans to find out where this is going.

HL2 Comment on Delays

I should start right off by stating that this is not about another delay for Half-Life 2. Gabe Newell made some comments about the release delays for HL2 in Polygon Magazine. He mentions that Valve will not be releasing a game that is not complete and would consider pumping more money and time into the project rather then release a poor product. "If that means delaying the game to 2005, we'll do it without any hesitation."

CoD Expansion in Fall

Coming this fall, Call of Duty: United Offensive will be released as an expansion to both the single player and multiplayer modes. You will be able to play in settings such as The Battle of the Bulge, The Battle of Kursk and also feature skirmishes in Italy. Ten new maps will be featured in all, along with new weapons, weather effects and three new multiplayer modes: Tank Battle, Capture the Flag and Domination.

UT2004 DVD Set Back

Before Unreal Tournament 2004 hit the shelves, some stores were offering a dvd 2 disc set. One disk with the game and the other packed with great video tutorials from 3DBuzz.com. It would seem that this offer will be back in stores again today, April 13th.

Atari On-Demand Launches

Atari has just launched a pay-to-play service. For $14.95 per month, you can download any game from their service and play the game for as long as you want. Right now, it would appear they only have about 40 classic games. You won't find UT2004 in the list, but some other great games (and not so great games) are in the list.... [ There's more ]
