New Serious Sam II Demo

As promised, a new demo is now available for Serious Sam II, Croteam's new shooter sequel. Word is: "This demo incorporates all the changes from the recently released patch. It also contains a new level from the full game (“Greendale”) as well as the level from the initial demo, both of which can be played single player or in on-line co-op.

ATI AA OpenGL Accelerator

HEXUS.net is offering news of a tool from ATI for their accelerators that accelerates high resolution OpenGL performance with antialiasing enabled, which ATI says can improve framerates in DOOM 3 by as much as 35%. Word is the memory mapping improvements offered in the tool will be included in future revisions of the CATALYST reference drivers beginning with version 5.11.
