Microsoft Corp. on Tuesday announced online enhancements to its Windows operating system and other popular software programs, hoping to defuse a growing threat from Google Inc. and other fast-moving challengers. KOCH Media announces that a further co-publishing deal has been signed with JoWooD for the multi-platform title "Panzer Elite Action", in addition to the contracts already signed for "Gothic 3", "SpellForce 2" and "The Guild 2". As before, KOCH Media has been acknowledged the exclusive licensing and distribution rights for Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK and Italy. It's not a new concept for Sony to invite gamers to be a part of the production process behind new titles.

Sony has launched a program which urges gamers to come up with scenarios, gameplay material and design schematics for new gaming titles which are to be produced for the Playstation 3 console.

Florida is following in the steps of California with a well-tanned violent gaming bill of its own. Apparently the bill is quite similar to the recently passed California law: "About the only difference between the two bills is that Diaz de la Portilla's legislation makes it illegal for violent games to be made available to minors in arcades as well as in stores.
