For the past few days, those of you who requested your lost passwords and email confirmations for already established accounts may not have been receiving your emails. I found an issue where some emails were not being properly sent.

This issue has been resolved. If anyone suspects that something isn't quite right with the inner workings of this website, please fill out a contact form. I'll do what I can to immediately fix any problems. 

Today is the day I promised to announce the Quake 4 MODSCON winners. This was a mapping contest for the Quake 4 game and was sponsored by Wiley Publishing, Inc. The winners and their prizes are as follows:

Today is supposed to be the last day to submit your Quake 4 map for the MODSonline mapping contest . First prize comes with a $100 American Express Gift card.

If you have a map almost ready to go, but you want another day to put it together, send me an email . I will give you this weekend to finalize your submission. I just want to have some more maps to judge in this contest.

We have just implemented a new website upload system that should allow for uploads up to 20Mb in size. Previously, our uploads were limited to 5Mb due to internet restictions. If you have a large map, tutorial or other file to upload, you should be able to do so without contacting us first.

We just finished up one contest and we're ready to bring you another. MODSonline along with Wiley Publishing, Inc. Present - MODSCON Quake 4 – A MODSonline Contest for Quake 4. The Custom Map Contest for Quake 4, Doom III and Prey. Contest runs from August 18 to September 22.

We appologize for all the newsletters that were sent out on Friday and Saturday. We were trying a new newsletter system and it didn't work out as well as we thought. On Friday morning, between 2-4 copies went out to some of our subscribers do to some error. And then on Saturday, another copy went out again.

Just want you to know that this was a mistake that has been resolved.
