Where are all the booth babes?

I wish it weren't so, but this year's E3 is expected to be lacking the luster it once did now that an old rule is to be enforced. A policy for the expo has been that:

Material, including live models, conduct that is sexually explicitand/or sexually provocative, including but not limited to nudity,partial nudity and bathing suit bottoms, are prohibited on the showfloor, all common areas, and at any access points to the show.

E3 Opinions

Since E3 is so large and full of both good and bad things, I thought I would just present you with some opinions of this year's event. I have attended the event twice in the past, but this year I am only watching from the glow of my screen.

The Event:

Lights Out at the Expo

One hour into this year's Expo and the lights go down. There is a power outage at the LA Convention center. While there are still a few areas that have power, many areas do not and it could possibly take up to 6 hours before all power is restored to the center.... [ There's more ]

Codemasters at E3 without games

CGOnline have learnt that although Codemasters will be present at E3, they won't be showing off any games nor have a booth. The publisher will be having a room in the LA Convention Center but they will only be conducting business there, not showing anything to press nor public.

** no big loss here. They never had an exciting booth before so why start now.

The E3 website is up with the 2005 registration dates. This is definitely a last minute gift to put on your holiday shopping list. Registration is now open so set aside the conference dates.

E3 Info Available

I just got my E3 flier in the mail which means it's time to start getting ready for that awesome trip in May. The exposition will run on May 12 -14 with conferences from May 11 - 13 and held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in California. I can't wait to go again this year.
