Calling All Quake 4 Mods

I've been noticing that there aren't very many Quake 4 mods out there. Well, I am in the market for a few great Quake 4 mods. They must be for Quake 4 and they can be either total modification or minor mods like outstanding maps.

I am not just looking for something to play, but I am compiling a special list. Let me just say... it will be worth while for the mod if they make my top ten list.

Quake 4 Beta Patch 1.1

We got alot of fixes coming our way for Quake 4. Seems the developers have been mighty busy. Although this is still a beta patch, the news is that server stability is much better. PleaseMYOB should be happy to hear this if he hasn't yet shut down his server.

Be warned that I believe all players must have this patch installed in order to play together. Old and new versions are not compatible for online play.

Quake 4 Demo Oops

Last week, id Software wanted so badly to have the demo out to everyone in the US for the Thanksgiving Holiday. However in all the rushing to get things done, a bug was found in the multiplayer portion of the demo and the entire thing was held back.

Expect the demo to be finalized and released very soon.
