Placing a Soldier Entity

We will now place a single USMC soldier on to the Map Editor.

Ensure that the Mission Editor is loaded and the Map Editor is currently selected.

1. Zoom in to any location on the Map. In this example we will be zooming to the small island south of Skirinka. We will be placing a single soldier on to the beach, but you may place your soldier in any location.
2. Ensure the Create tab is selected and that USMC is currently highlighted.
3. Expand the Soldiers folder in the USMC group and click on USMC Rifleman to select.
4. Once you have clicked on this soldier entity, if you move your mouse cursor over the map you will notice that it has now changed to a blue circle and a cursor icon. This means that you are ready to place your selected soldier on screen.
5. Click anywhere on the map to place the USMC Rifleman.

You should now see a blue circle unit placed on the Map. You can see an example of this in the Figure below.
