This is really for battlecraft 42 and I have found out not only to plant plants but other objects.
I was making a beach map, Utah and as you know the beaches have obstacles. Then I wanted to place 'tankobs_ste_m1'. I was about to do it manually but then I thought of vegetation generator. I put the name of the object where it says vegetation type and so I wrote 'tankobs_ste_m1'. I bound it to material wet sand. It came up with lots of tankobs (hedghogs) and it was a great discovery. I hope someone finds use of this small tutorial. By Lddtrains12

Also, I think you have to have a tree or bush placed in your map for this to work.
