How you can get CoD 2 demo files (.dm_1) working. Put the demo file to C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main\demos (default directory). (If there aint demos folder you can always create it name it "demos".) Open CoD 2 multiplayer and when you are on main menu open console with button below escape (~) or (`). If you cant get console open you can check if its enabled from CoD 2 Options->Game Options->Enable Console. Now open console and write /demo demosname for example /demo noob (dont put the extension .dm_1 behind it). If all gone right then the demo should open, you can stop watching the demo just by pressing escape. Recording demos Open console in-game and write /record thewishedrecordname for example /record noob.(If you dont give name to the record CoD makes its automatically fe. demo0001). You can stop recording by writing /stoprecord in console. Recorded demos appear automatically C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main\demos directory. |
