Why is this impo rtant?...

This means we are going to have something edit and modify. Previously, we were only going to see a mission generator for single player. Now, we are expected to find tools for creating and editing our own material.

Will Raven support the community this time around? The is no way to know for sure. If history tells us anything, the answer is no. Raven did little to support the mod community with SOF and I fear to think that they will only do the same with SOF2. However, I am sure they received plenty of hate mail regarding this matter and dispite what they say, we do have an influence on what they do (referring to how they had extra programmers around so they decided to add multiplayer.. ha.. you think our complaints and threats meant nothing?).
