HEAT, a Soldier of Fortune II mod inspired by the crime saga of the movie with the same name, is on the edge of completion, according to some anonymous source (Fragger, I think...).

"H.E.A.T is a team-based modification to the popular Raven Software game, Soldier of Fortune II: Double Helix. The concept was taken from the 1995 success movie, HEAT.
In H.E.A.T, you can expect movie-like action.
It will have many new features:

- Bomb, robbery and hostage modes
- Buy system
- Totally new HUD
- 10 Characters skins taken from the movie
- At least 20 realistic weapons for the first beta, including :

* MP5,
* SG-1,
* Galil,
* FNC,
* FAMAS,
* Berreta,
* Desert Eagles,
* M4,
* M16,
* AK47, etc...

- Customizable weapons (Silencer, Laser, etc..)
- Maps taken from the movie
- Lots of buildings able to enter
- Iron sights in future releases
