According to a tweet by ID software’s, Evil genius John Carmack, The next patch will help alleviate the blurry textures in Rage.

“We have a bicubic-upsample+detail texture option for the next PC patch that will help alleviate the blurry textures in Rage.”

The PC release of Rage was less the perfect, Between the horrible “Texture Pop-up's” and random crashes, ID was forced to admit that they hadn't paid as much attention to the PC version as they did with the PS3 and Xbox versions. (Although this is issue is also happening in the PS3 Version)

The currently released patch did reduce this issue for a large amount of people, however the blurry textures are still there for most people. Currently there is no word on when this latest patch will drop or whether it will fix any of the random crashes that are still present for some people. There is also no infomation on when we will be seeing the Editor for the game.
