Well the numbers are in, and it looks like Nintendo's innovative new console is going to blow Microsoft's next-gen console out of the water. As you know, the Xbox 360 launched 1 year and 4 months ago, to-date selling an astonishing 9.5 million consoles worldwide. The Wii launched a mere 4 months ago, and already has sold 5.7 million systems worldwide.

This just goes to show you how well innovation sells. Nintendo has never been happier. Between the Wii's rivaling sales figures and the blowout with DS sales, Nintendo is having a tremendously successful run at the market.
