There is no easy way to put this, but Activision has revealed that the next Call of Duty game won't be released on PC. Rather, it will only be available for the newest consoles.

It's a matter of sales and profits. Activision is making more money from the sale of the CoD2 console version than they are the PC version.

Althought this sounds grim for us, it's still possible that what CEO Bobby Kotick by his statement is that this next CoD product is just a spin-off of the original series and not the official CoD3. Let's hope.
