Standing on the set of the upcoming DOOM film, and, as someone who played all the way through DOOM 3, it's quite a surreal experience. From the dark hallways of the UAC facility to the caverns of the archaeological dig site down to the textures of the corridors, it's as if someone got permission to build a DOOM 3 theme park and tried to rebuild areas of the game brick by brick. It is about as close to standing inside a videogame as one could imagine.
