I found a good article on optimizing your video cards for Battlefield 2. This is a big issue since the game really tasks your video card. They use a good sampling of video cards for this guide and make sure to note that this is not a video card comparison.. but a guide to optimization.
I am thinking that this guide might help some of you with testing your custom maps.
