Doom 3 mod Last Man Standing Coop Beta 0.3

The release of Beta 0.3 is drawing near! We hope to have it out in the next few days. The biggest change you will see from 0.2 to 0.3 is our SP coop support. The single player levels should play with almost no problems. Our coders have been working hard on the coding end to get things working while Hobbes, one of our beta testers, has been gracious enough to edit small portions of the maps to get things working on that end. To make it clear, maps were modified as little as possible to keep it as close to the original single player levels as possible. A new feature added to the SP maps is a waypoint system developed by hobbes so that when you die you don't start back at the beginning.

In addition, I am very excited to annouce that a new double barrel shotgun model complete with sounds will be released in Beta 0.3 This is thanks to an excellent modeler named Revility. The screens don't give it justice because using it in game turned out way better than I imagined.

Another exciting feature that will be included is Infrared Vision! I want to give a big thanks to Beerman for his work on it and also my coders who helped finish up the final stages. Also I would like to thank Brian Harris of id software for his help in making IR work. IR so fun to use in game, it is much better than including the suitlight like we had in 0.1

And finally we are looking for another coder to help join our ranks. The coder would have to be extremely motivated and also very skilled. Experience with netcode would be a huge plus. Our dev cycle is very fast so the coder would need to keep up with ao and iten, and that is no easy task. If interested please post in our forums. Take care.
