  Latest News for Painkiller The latest 1.35 patch for Painkiller comes with the tools to map and mod the game. Fileshack is serving it up along with filefront.
Ability to edit almost the entire game- including maps, feature artwork, major engine variables, and scripts. Dreamcatcher has now released a multiplayer demo for Painkiller after having put out two single player demos over the past weeks. For 137Mb you will get yourself two maps, two modes, four skins (hehe) and updates included since the latest game patch. Where can you get it?
3D Gamers, ActionTrip, Computer Games Online, FileFront, Filerush (torrent), FileShack (registration required), Gamer's Hell, Loadedinc (registration required), and Worthplaying Painkiller will be expanded late this year. Dreamcatcher Games has announced that an expansion pack, picking up where the game left off, will be released at then end of this year.
Picking up right where the game's story left off, Battle out of Hell includes an additional single-player chapter with 10 levels, as well as new multiplayer modes, maps and models. It will also offer an amplified arsenal of un-deadly weapons, bigger and badder bosses and the map editor Software Development Kit. Painkiller has been doing well according to the critics (reviewers) and although we've had our chance to check out the single player action in the first demo, it's now time to see what the multiplayer action is like. Come May 3rd, the Painkiller MP demo will be released. Gamespot writes:
A second demo for Painkiller has been let out. For only 156Mb, you too can play the single player level "City on Water" before it hits the shelves on April 12th. Fileshack has the demo available.
As promised, the Painkiller single player demo is now available. 228Mb will get you three maps to play in. The official website can be found here while the download for the demo....fileshack, fileplanet. Come next week, we should be seeing the demo for Painkiller available for download. For the price of 200Mb, you will get 3 single player levels of blood and action. The official release is below... |
