The move of Stalker from vaporware to beta is a good thing. It means that the game is practically on the store shelves after all these years. A beta of the single player game is going out to the different game reviewers for write-up in magazines and such. We should be able to get our own copies next month when the game goes on sale.... STALKER Date

OK. Another official date for the release of STALKER. Supposedly confirmed date for the first quarter of 2007. Take it with a grain of salt. This game has been delayed too many times to get excited. :/... [ There's more ]

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. in 2006?

Oblivion-Lost.com has a story up speculating that the release of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl has slipped until 2006. THQ responds with:

THQ's financial year runs from April 1st 2005 through to March 31st 2006. This is standard practise and widely known in the industry and business. There was no mention of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. as we have already announced it many times... [ There's more ]

Gamershell.com reports that as of the "Igrograd Exhibition" of the game in Kiev/Ukraine, development is almost finished. This event took place April 14-17. Gamershell has the video available for download.

STALKER delayed again

bah... STALKER has been delayed yet again. It had been last pushed to May of 2005, but now the date is left unannounced. The only explaination given is that THQ has given the team more time to develop the game. I guess that means it was sucking. lol.... [ There's more ]
