Everyone form a single line here... and no pushing. The Chrome beta testing sign-ups are now open. Grab your number 2 pencil and clearly fill in the form. Any rowdy behavior will result in... well... someone getting fragged.;)
Take a look at this new screenies from Chrome, here at Lone Gamers!
This game seems amazing, I never seen a graphic engine like this one! This thing is huge... I wonder how the gameplay is going to be... Gamespy has started a developers diary for Chrome, a tactical fps game. A taste of what they offer:
Our main aim was to create extensive outdoor locations that would give the player a lot of freedom to move around. We wanted to make it so that no other game would give the player such a realistic image of a deep forest. The forest itself introduces a new type of play mode based on combat in the wilderness. You can move around the forest, watch the detailed surface of leaves and bark, and then jump onto the shuttle, fly high above the ground, and watch everything get smaller and become a remote panorama made up of extensive terrains and thousands of plants. The fps Chrome, which is still in development, has just been picked up for publishing by Strategy First. With that comes a potential release date... late Spring of this year. whoohoo.
This was one pretty looking game from what I have seen. I am excited to see that development is nearing an end and that we will all have a chance to get our dirty mits on it. lol. You can also find some new screenies of the game over at GameSpot. Techland has released a new screenshot on The Adrenaline Vault of the coming FPS action game, Chrome. You should flip through the all the screens while you are there. This game has some great promise for fun and mods.
Have you seen Chrome? I finally ventured over to the Chrome game website and was pleased with what I saw. This game has some truly nice graphics and the game play sounds like fun.
Techland, the developers of Chrome, released news today that their single player demo was delayed and will be rescheduled soon. I look forward to seeing what comes of this game. |
