Latest News for Soldier of Fortune Kenn Hoekstra, formerly of Raven software who developed the first two Soldier of Fortune games, has confirmed that the third is in the making. However... and this is important... it is not being worked on by Raven Software. Activision Value is the publisher of this game. There aren't many more details about it.. but that publisher's name should say plenty.
Is it possible that a new Soldier of Fortune is coming? EBGames seems to think so. They think it's being released November 13, 2007.
The developers of the Soldier of Fortune series, Quake IV, and many other great titles are shutting down their forums. They just redesigned their website and decided that they didn't want to continue the forums. There is no definite date of closure.. but it's gonna happen. CBernstein of Raven starts the closing thread : Everyone. We regret to inform you that we will be shutting down the message boards. The message boards on the forums.ravensoft.com website will be down for an indefinite period of time. Anyone coming from those forums and looking for a place to continue chatting about the games of Raven, you are all welcome to our forums. Raven has just released all of the original map files from the original release of the the game (not any updated materials). The map files are excellent for disecting and learning how to do all those things you see in the official game.
All you SOF 1 mappers... this is a must. Grab this package of goodness right here. If you are looking for the SOFMapping site that used be located on SOFCenter.com... stop right there. The site has been dropped by SOFCenter and is temporarily mirrored on foyleman.com. In a short while, all the tutorials.. all 250 pages of them (whew).. will be permanently relocated to this site, GDConnect.com.

The upcoming SoF2 mod Agent Rez received some critical feedback concerning their choice of the 1960s as base for the mod and decided to ask you gamers what time period you want Agent Rez to take place in. You can contribute to the poll at the Agent Rez forums.
