OKay here's my delima...

In my map there's going to be a lighthouse...and I want to be able to walk around the top. (no big problem). Now I want to create a railing so that you can't jump (or fall) off. I could go the easy way and just clip the railing out of one big brush...but there must be an easier way. I know you can make cyliders, that works good if you were just viewing it from the outside, now if you're up behind the railing, you can see through the mesh. Should I stick with the clipping and fitting? Let me know!

You can make long cylinders and bend them using the "patch bend" mode.

Or at least.. that works in CoD Radiant

You're on the right track, use the cylinder, go to patch>matrix>invert and vĂ³ila there is the other side of the railing ( I think, it's getting late in this timezone [tongue] )
