Hey Chaps,

Forgive my ignorance but I'm wanting to be able to take .map files I'm working on and continue to work on them on a different machine. Say at work, or another machine in my house.

Are there any other files I need to take with it so I can continue to work, only ask becasue when I just take the .map and open the .map in radiant I get this the map is empty but contains info of what I've built so far

Somebody can correct me if Im wrong...

I am assuming you have the Modtools and the update on the other computer(s). If you just want to work on the map and not compile it you'd need the maps bsp and any custom textures or prefabs you have so that they will show up once the map is opened in Radiant. You would also have to have it all in the same path, as once I put my textures in sub folders and it wreaked havoc on my maps...

If you want to actually compile the maps also you'd need the game installed...and all the associated files..._fx.gsc, .gsc, .csv, _amb.gsc.....etc.

If you do a search of your computer for any file name that includes your maps name you can find all the files associated with the map....
