While the ship is preparing to disappear beneath the ocean that is the Internet, I'd like to give a sincere thanks to the whole CoD community, you guys are the true reason this site existed in the first place.
This closing came as a complete surprise to even us staff members, as we were never warned about this. But, economic times are getting hard and it seems like Ziff Davis doesn't have the money to continue the FF network.

Again, I can't say enough thanks to all of you who have kept the site thriving for so long, since it began around 2003, 6 years ago.
While there were those members who would climb on everyone's nerves (dvdhaxor, I'm looking at you), there were also those who were constantly sending in new data to be publish, new files, new news, the works. For those of you, I can't thank you enough for all the work you guys have done.

A big thanks goes to all the Site managers and staff that led before me, I feel kind of like I'm the one who closed things down.

This has been an amazing ride, with many bumps, twists and turns. But through it all, I am proud to say that I enjoyed it very much, it added a great deal of spice in my life to say the least.

So farewell Filefront, it's been fun. Who knows, you might find me administering another site very soon. *hint hint*
