hello everyone i have a problem and cant figure out wth is wrong everytime i try and make a wall or floor or hell anything the brush just disappears but if u rightclick and move the mouse u can see it it doesnt show up on the grid or the veiw window..not sure if i hit a disappear button or what all i know is it worked fine when i started the map but now everytime i load it or try a new map it shows the brish ur making but as soon as u unselect it it disappears

Hit "F" which means "Filters"

Make sure "Structure" isn't unchecked. It's in the top section.

That's the only thing I can think of off hand, not sure if there is a hotkey for that, maybe you pressed it on accident.

With that unchecked, it hides all the Structure brushes and the default brush when drawn is a structure brush.

ok i checked it and it was checked marked so i unchecked it and now i can the brushs and all now thanks for the reply

okmaybe not now models dont show i put the farmer model in and it disappears but the structal walls are there the floors all there but now the models and prefabs all disappear when i recheck structaul everything dissappears

Sounds like something internal is messed up with Radiant, then again it could be something else.

The only other idea I have is to save off your map files to another location and reinstall the tools.

Unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas. Maybe someone else knows your exact problem, but from the lack of response? You can either wait for a response, try a fresh install of the tools, or just fiddle around some more and try and figure it out.

yeh seems to me that you just checked a couple more filters.
models (like the farmer) are entities, and if you have those checked in your filter, they will disappear as well.
if something else in your map disappears, try finding it the filters first :)
if that doesn't work, go to view > show hidden. that should bring back any items you may have hidden by accident.
