Well you see i want to start my pown home server, ive done it before very successfully, i know about the config and the mods but lately when i try to start up a home server i cant get it on the internet but i set it to pure and dedicated to internet and everything but noone can connect to it, people keep telling me i need a static ip and open my ports or something... Any help with any of it?

u have to open the ports of ur internet i think is writting ur ip in google and there u got isntructions or google/"how to open internet ports" 5 secs to write this...

Also check if u give to them the correct ip go to www.myip.nl for example..

You must open the port for your server (default is 28960), also make sure you gave them the right IP, if you said one that begins with 192.168. then thats your private LAN IP and wont work.

And i went to that site, my WAN IP Address: 24.45 thats wat it starts with and my Internet Port is : 3778

Also, how can I open my port successfully, i looked on google and followed the steps but how do i know if my port is open successfully?

Use that to get your IP and to check if your port is open or you can google "test for open port"
