how would i go about make a custom flag and have it move in the wind???

LoL...I just had a go around with SPS about a similar issue until I was educated how they do it...


If you use the model prop_flag_neutral in your map(which is a white waving flag) and make a custom texture called decal_flag_neutral_c.iwi with Asset Manager and put it in your maps iwd file the game with put your flag pic on the waving flag.....

I'm pretty sure thats how they do it....

Actually Hogan I just tried it and it didnt work....

Maybe on of the SPS guys will see this post and tell you the real way...sorry man, thought I had it.

You can use this flag model (its animated):

prop_flag_neutral



Then you must create a new IWI file with your own design for the flag, have a look at this tutorial on how to convert from TGA/DDS to IWI

The IWI you are looking to replace is

/raw/images/decal_flag_neutral_c.iwi

texture must be in your mods iwd file.That´s how we do it
