here is the download link i haven't gone through all of it yet but they are some game making software i have not tryed it yet :(
there is a doc on c++(C++ Builder Introduction) as well hope its useful to someone lol
well I'm going to go over the rest and see whats in it hope you enjoy lol

Unlike most programs? Every application with a graphical user interface is somewhat based on loops. think about the windows event messaging. if an application waits for user input, e.g. keystrokes or mouse clicks, it is stuck in a loop. but if there's nothing to do, it won't block the system, it tells the OS to use the resources for other things instead (like wait(0.1); in a while or for loop inside of a threaded cod function).

heh, that statement was probably down to my narrow field of experience.

A php script really has to terminate in some way so getting used to all these endless loops and multithreading was the main challenge for me.

I'm just starting a C# module at uni - so no doubt I will prove myself wrong!

there is actually a way to avoid message loops in your windows apps: you can register own callback functions.
