ok, im was following this tutorial

and he goes on to talk about placing models stright onto the floor with a down button, however i do not have this button. If you look at his radient toolbar, its very big, mine is like this.





PS: im on a 22" monitor running Vista 32BIT

ok i messed around with my computer resolusion and i fixed it, but i hate the resolusion for the rest of the computer, is there a way to set a certain resolution for just radient?, and not the whole computer.

No there isn't. You can though get another monitor, and use that one if you have the money.

My moniter came with my alienware, a dell 22", i dont see whats wrong with it....

first im told to replace my OS, now my Moniter

22" and such a low resolution? replace your eyes :D

No man, I'm saying you can GET ANOTHER monitor, or you can turn up the res and try to live with it.

Keep the resolution at what ever you want, click between any two buttons on the tool bar and drag downwards, this un-docks it. Now you can expand it to show the rest of the buttons.

Well with a 22" monitor, you can get a resolution of 1650 px by 1050 px. It looks like you are using 1024 px by 768 px, which is obviously smaller than the maximum you can handle.

Here are your options:

1. Change the resoltuion of the whole machine and adjust. (You might find games look alot better with a native resolution as wel).

2. Go with techno's solution and undock the bar.

Unfortunatly, you can't alter the resolution of Radiant to something higher than the res of the system. Otherwise it would cut off what could be important buttons on the left.

you can click on the docking indicator (where the toolbar starts) or on a seperator (see 2nd arrow)

the borderstyle of the undocked toolbar is "toolbar" and wastes a lot of space. run my little script to remove the WS_CAPTION:

Radiant_-_Toolbar.zip

Those work too.
