Alright, I've search around a little but have found nothing dealing with custom vehicles for this game. Has anybody started or even tried to do anything like this yet? If so, any suggestions or advice would help greatly as I have a small team of guys looking to do maps and mods for CoD:WW.

I've already started modeling an old CoD:UO map, Kharkov. Any fans of the old game may remember this was the large urban Russian vs Nazi map. Since such large maps are so sorely missing from this game, and since it was my favorite map in those days, I figured it'd be a perfect one to bring into a new age. But considering it's size it might be a bit frustrating to play without some swifter way to get from one end of the map to the other.

The Panzer and T34 in WW are slow, even with leadfoot, compared to the UO tanks, so I figure jeeps would be a good addition to the game. And in keeping with the UO tradition, the goal is to have a jeep for each nation with 3 seats (driver, passenger, gunner) and easy handling with enough speed to get around.

I've got a good ambitious programmer and some other guys to help out but we're all new to mapping and modding games and I'm not really sure where to start with vehicles.

I believe the RGN dev team (zeroy and Sven) are working on drivable jeeps. Dont know how far they are with them.

See this thread for more details:

Sven made a custom model and tried to import it, but Radiant keeps crashing.

Zeroy made the Jeep working, but it lacks a driver (animation), wheel steering and need an engine fix 'cause it rotates along tag_origin til it receives damage.
