I am looking for some people to work as ateam for a very large project i am thinking of doing,

Details:

The project is an entire city, this will entail many playable areas and combines the objective play style of the single and multiplayer games with the excitement and carnage of the nazi zombie play style. Players will have free access and movment throughout the entire city and with the use of kill spawn triggers the game play will follow them smoothly.

Areas of play:

1. factory
2. school
3. hospital
4. multi floor office building
5. bars or restaurants
6. stores
7. military facility
8. mourge
9. park, lake, campground
10. residential

As you can see it will be quite large and i plan on trying to push radiant to the boudries. See how much can be done.

Ides for map:

I want to implement buyable blockers not only to gain access to areas but also to block areas from the zombies. I also want to implement logic based puzzle solving to move the progression along. As the players move further into the map the areas will become more open as the zombies will get harder. I would also like to take full advantage of the animations and extras in the game itself.

I know it sounds like a large undetaking, and i am convinced with the right team it will work.

So this message goes out to all, i need experienced mappers, modders, modelers. Any level of experience, all i ask is that you have the dedication to stick with the project.

My present map is going on 35 days and the above know will be a long haul but the rewars will be worth it.

I have been toying with this idea as at the end of the day all the maps that are out are the same, i want to be able to provide a different twist on this very popular genre.

You can email me, ottawolf@live.ca with city project as the subject, pm me or post in here.

Thanks in advance for the interest.

Be sure to add me on x-fire.

I know what your idea is for the map. Did you happen to see my post about large and very detailed maps?

karnivor forum topic

This might not effect the project at all. So what do you need help with to start with?

You want to put all that in just one map? I'm already pushing the engine to it's limit with my city map, yours seems to be much bigger - I doubt it's possible!

Im sure its definately possible but the maps file would be very large to download but i would be willing if it was really good.

I wouldnt mind helping out, ive made quite a few maps and im not bad at scripting and stuff.

Just got the blockers that you buy to block the zombies off working.

if this topic (and the project) are active again, I definitely want to join!
I've been mapping for about 6 years (since CoD1) and still work hard.
