Ok first thing... Im trying to create a Minimap. I have followed the Instructions to the T here Treyarch MiniMap tut I set the entities level with the ground, and just outside of the playing area in a square opposite corners. I run the game through the Launcher. It loads fine. I type:
/set scr_minimap_height 3000 (3k because that is the best birds eye view to make the square straight)

I line it up. hit F12 for screen shot. I look in the C:\Documents and Settings\JACSLX\My Documents\Activision\CoDWaW\screenshots No shot is seen that I just took... Even tried the Prt Scrn key... I alt-tab out and load up Photoshop, nothing to paste. What gives?

So I load the game through the multiplayer shortcut. Mods>Usermaps>Start new server>select my map.
default load screen shows up (hadnt created one yet) then game Crashes. Tried the shortcut once again, Mods>usermaps then hit ~ and typed /map mp_thefarm. Same thing. Laods then crashes ???? I get an Unhandeld Exception


So I load the game back up through the Launcher. Game loads fine. But really doesnt matter because I cant get any type of screen shots needed for the Laod Screen nor the Minimap...neither F12 nor does PrtScrn work

any ideas?

Ok, Fixed the screen shot thing. I DL a program that re keyed the screen shot macro. Anyhoo... So I was able to load the map through launcher... hit /set scr_minimap_height 3000 I was able to get a straight down shot, took a screen shot. Downloaded plug in for Photoshop7. Opened screen shot, cropped to just inside of the qhite square. Re sized to 512x512 and hit Save AS compass_map_mp_thefarm.tga saved the file in the RAW/Images folder. All good so far. I load up the launcher, hit AssetManager. Scrolled down to Material and hit New Entry. Followed the steps from the Tutorial as stated in the first post. When I hit PC-convert I get a GDT file is a READ ONLY and it stops.

So I hit the Converter Button under applications.. I get a nother Error: dll version number does not match convberter version

WTH does that mean? How is that fixed? I DL and installed the latest mod tools update...

Fix one thing, another two pops up....

when you get the read only just pull that gdt to your desktop and resave the gdt for your minimap convert and it should make one the error you are saying is happening sounds like the one for making loadscreens if so you need to do the work around by tally select propertys to change the bat to your loadscreen name then the csv and drop it in the bat now you should have a load ff ,loadscreen only not mini map
