Hello guy's, been spending 9 hours on cod map maker not even made a room, i can do everything else but no room. What happens is, i make my floor and my celieing e.t.c then when i try and make a wall and higher it in the air, it deosnt higher, ive looked throught turtorails but still nothing :S could some, one plz tell me exactly what to do. thank's

while haveing your wall selected put your curser outside the brush and move it up or down to ajust hight on the wall (brush)

i get my floor of my room and everything ok. then when i put a wall i caint higher the wall lower the well, can some 1 plzplz help as its doing my head in lol,

I hope you're doing the hightening in your 2D window and not in the 3d view, because this is really a pain in the ***.

Zoom out in your 2d window, if you don't when you get to the side of the screen your brush just gets moved instead of higher.

Also make sure you haven't got your Z axis locked (the "Z" button in the toolbar)

try changing the view .. you migth be only on the top down view

to change the view press ctrl + tab together

YAY!!! :D it worked how do i put it bk so i can put floors e.t.c

By pressing Alt-tab...
it cycles you through the 3 viewing planes... top (XY), front (XZ) and side (YZ).

How do i adjust my brush?

If you have it selected (by holding the "shift" key and pressing the brush) you can do two things in the 2d window with a brush:

1) click with your mouse inside the brush and move your mouse, this moves the whole brush

2) click outside the brush and move your mouse, this alters the shape of the brush, just play with it a bit to see how it affects it.

I hope this is what you meant :D
