still would like a reply to my question... i am looking for right .bat do final compile of my map....i realy cant waste 15 hrs or more on compile and have the .bat file be wrong

the options for compiling for CoD are in the compiling readme (located in the "call of duty/tools/docs/ folder)

the options are pretty much the same for CoDUO and CoD

your model shadows wants to be on and set the sundiffuse to high (10) [angryalien]

I tried ur explenation, dropped the sundifuse 10 out, cause will take a few hours.

Models like cars and brush cast shadow but i still cant c shadow for pinetrees. is there a way u can cast darker shadow. like tell the vis to put shadow transparency to 50%.


Its a night map so i understand that things are a bit diff.
Still all surrounding patches with brush tex on cast a lovely shadow. thats the way that i want the trees to cast it.

Ok i did a litle test. 1 pintree and one pine tree shadow caster.

The shadow caster gives me shadow, the other one does not.

hhmm that's right there are three models that don't cast a shadow while you have options good for it.. that is depending on teh model just make a test map and put all the three's in it and look wich one cast a shadow and wicht not...maybe an idea..;)

Yes thats what i did, im testing the compile methids out, wich ones u really need to cast nice shadows, and wich not.
