Just wondering which games
can be Modded with hammer?
Dark Messiah? Vampire-bloodlines?
If so, How do I get them to come up
on the choices on Source SDK?
or do I have to enter all the info by hand?
Also... how do I do that?
Cause a few of My maps would look better
with a sword in hand, not an crowbar.

You can mod/map for all of valves recent games such as, half life, half life 2, TF2, portal and left 4 dead.

You can probably get the sdk to work for some of the other games but it's a difficult and lengthy process. To see what you can mod open the sdk and click on the box under the engine version and it should tell you.

Also if you change the engine version you should get some other games that you own that are modable.

good answer welshy.

Don't forget that if you are enthused enough, you can try and mod any game out there regardless of having an SDK. Modding didn't start because developers gave us tools to do it. We created the tools and eventually developers embraced it (to a degree).

Nice work so far. Looks like fun.

Some suggestions you can take or leave...

- how about attaching a dynamic light to the player so the torch appears to be giving off light.
-- sorry, I didn't notice until later that there is light on the torch. I say turn it up. hehe

- i think the light style faster flicker (or starts with the word "faster") looks fire-like if you want to get those torches looking a little more realistic

- some patch meshes (small spots of terrain) would help the floor by adding some high spots of sand here and there. Especially near the walls where sand would naturally gather.

Good ideas.
The torch has 2 dynamic lights on it already
1 pointing up, the other down. But I guess
the could use a bigger radius. I was debating
the fast flicker too. But at the time I wasn't sure
if it would stress My CPU, or something.
As for the sand drifts, Those were the meshes
that made it crash, and forgot to replace them
with non overstretched ones. I was just happy it played... lol
I'm planning on having 3 different Time Eras of it too
So extra sand displacement, and other stuff will be needed.
Like faded Hieroglyphics, and fresh ones.

My S4 Map(Area51 south) is coming along good.
might have to divide it into a few maps tho.

Thanks again for the feedback.
Gonna try and catch Your show on Sun.
