Hi, when trying to build my fastfile imnow getting,
Code:
Expression:
    (g_streamOutMemory)
("VirtualAlloc returned NULL; may be out of memory") = VirtualAlloc returned NULL; may be out of memory

Module: C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 5\bin\linker_pc.exe
File: E:\cod5\cod\codsrc\src\database\db_stream_save.cpp
Line: 509

bsp compiles fine, it just seems to happen upon compiling the fastfile.

Really appreciate any help. Thanks.

Sorry for the quick post but though i would just let you know a few things i have tried.

Reinstalling the tools
'Run as admin'
Checked my ram, page and swap files, they all appear ok
Delete registry for both radiant and treyarch

Incase your wondering i have 4gb ram, this has never been an issue and i have built many fastfiles in the past on this machine.

I also thought it may be caused by something in my map so tried the mp_barebones, same result. I then just tried running the linker_pc.exe from the bin folder, same thing.

Would really appreciate any help, this is really holding me up.

Same thing has just happened to me and I've tried all the same ideas.

I'm going to install everything on another HDD just as a last ditch effort but even if that works I'd still like to know whats wrong... memory is definitely NOT the issue [sad]

Ok well I got it working (http://www.modsonwiki.com/index.php/World_at_War:_Common_Compile_Tool_Errors).

It's too early in the morning for me to tell whether or not the above is the solution for everyone but it seemed to work for me although I'm not sure why this error suddenly occured as nothing on my PC has changed lately.

I will however be getting a virus checker and looping programs in the background can cause suspicious errors like this too.
