The mod tools for Call of Duty: World at War have just been updated. You can find the download here in our downloads section. The readme:

+++ MOD TOOLS PATCH 1.1 +++

Installation:

- Unzip the .rar file to a new folder. (if you are reading this, then you have possibly already done this. Congrats!)

- You will see three folders, "map_source", "raw", and "zone source".

- Highlight all three folders and copy them into your "Call of Duty - World at War" root game directory.

- You will be asked if it is okay to overwrite folders and files. Click "Yes to All" for this operation.

You have now sucessfully installed the mod tools package. Have fun, and please report any problems to the forums!

--------------------------------

Added Files:

mp_castle.map and all .map prefabs associated with it.
code_post_gfx_mp, flamethrower, vehicle, and water CSV files.
ambient, attack, and sprint Zombie sound effects.
destructibledef and destructiblepiece files

Ok,
Can someone please clearify something for me. I'm a bit of an idiot when it comes to scripting. I can make very nice looking maps but gave up hope to complete them when I couldn't seem to get all the script running correctly.

DOES THIS PATCH FIX ALL THE COMPILE ERRORS DUE TO THE CSV,GSC, AND ALL THE OTHER FILES THAT ARE NEEDED THAT DON'T EXSIST?

can I just make a map and play it now?

Technically, you could have made a map and played it before the 1.1 add on.
