could someone please explain what i need inside my IWD in order for my map to run thanks

Assuming your making a multiplayer map, you don't need an IWD to get a map to work. Most maps only have custom Images (ie Load screen) in there IWD but anything thats custom can go in. Images \| loadscreen_mp_{mapname}.iwi compass_map_mp_{mapname}.iwi sounds \| {customSound}.wav

Actually, the wave files can be packed in the FF file. There is no need to put them in the IWD. Only MP3 Files MUST be placed into the IWD, wave files don't. But your correct about the Loadscreen and Minimap and any custom Textures.
