I know there are plenty of tutorials, but i cant get this to work
my problem is that i dont want my terrain patches to overlap with my walls, how do i transform them in the shapes i want ?
heres a picture of what my problem is;

(if pic doesnt load > http://img136.imageshack.us/img136/2883/mapgridmg7.jpg)

black = walls
red = my landscape
green = landscape that overlaps my walls = not what i want

basically like this:

Patch / Mesh Vertices Splitting (Cutting Terrain)

connecting vertices in cod4 radiant: W key

there is a so called "tolerant weld" you may use when connecting more than single vertices at once
"-Tolerant Weld- Shows a line where verts will be connected because they are within the TW distance setting in preferences. "

i see, but can i also connect patches in the same patch? or does the map glitch then?

or link:http://img292.imageshack.us/my.php?image=trixxsl7.jpg

can i connect these 3 patches like this ?

for example the 2 patches at the top, one has 4 verts, and the one next to it has 5, can i still connect this? without any errors

it seems to work in editor, not sure ingame tho
