It's accomplished. I provide a test map for further examination, improvement and experiments (.map included) at
RGN. You'll find the download link there.
Included is
- a Panzer IV with mounted MG
- a Panzer IV with mounted flamer
- a T34
all destructible, along with the missing drive sounds, ddef files and stuff. No luck so far with Sherman, keeps crashing the game. |

By the way, if someone provided you the original game's missing sound files, those sound files are considered illegally obtained. If someone tells you how to extract those sound files for yourself, they are legit.
That is something you may want to consider.

You can get the vehicle map HERE.
Anything else will be dealt with by my lawyer. Especially the fraudulent sale of a half finished product that CoD5 is, let aside the unsupported mod tools.

If you want to distribute a compiled map just as .ff, then you won't need to.
If you want to distribute the .map to share the possibility of examining, improving and experimanting with the stuff in it, then use the .zip file or simply share the download link which points to my private webspace and won't become deleted soon.
Currently I am fixing the Panzer IV armor plates. Adjusted them on the left side, on the right side doing them as the xmodelparts files suggest lead to a screw-up result, so I need further testing. |

Ah yes, if you are worried about the legal situation regarding those sound files (an elefant grown fly IMHO), just push them thru Audacity and alter them a little bit (more bass, slight distortion), maybe give 'em different file names and then adjust soundaliases accordingly. Then they become your own, individual creation.
Or get your own tank sound files for a change.
Or omit them and drive noise-protected .... ![[crazy]](images/BBCode/smilies/crazy.gif) |
