i have it done like you but in the map i still walk treu the bike and still can't ride with it :frown: :'(

Okay. One thing at a time:

Walking through it is a seperate issue. Do you remember the thread where you got the files? There was a discussion there about this relating to where the collmaps need to be during the compile process. Check that first. If you can't find it (I'd suggest search for bmw collmaps and it should show up) I'll see if I can remember where it is.

Once they are solid, then we can see if you still can't use them.

Also, put a pause in during your compile (if you don't already have one) and make sure there are no errors.

you need to have the collmap for the bike in a folder called "collmaps" in the UO directory

take a look at the tutorial here for more information regarding this, as well as other things that NEED to be done [angryalien]

lol ive put a 1 in my Weardale map!
Does anyone know any other vehicle mods? there pretty cool!

Ive looked all over but cant find any...

If you DL'd both the zzz_vehicle_BMW.pk3 and the zzz_BMW_Testmap.pk3, you have EVERYTHING you need to use this in your .map. There already is a /collmaps directory with the BMW_collmap inside. Shosmeister said he edited it to make it smaller but I havent done that.

Still havent figured out the probs with the vehicle health hudbar.


FYI- I have other vehicles I have completed but hesitate to release them. The BMW didnt work out like I had hoped (too many problems with CoD:UO), so I may never [ohwell]

I posted the reply to the hud health bar. You must have had something else that was making it work. All I had to do was add the call the the tank routines - don't remember exactly which. If you need them, I can get them.

Other than that, the only problem is the lack of collision detection. Haven't figure that one out yet though.

Yeah I meant the same thing. The Hudbar uses the tank one (which I changed in my new script) but, the collisions dont seems to register. The BMW will die if you ram it too much or shoot it so I know that it takes damage. It just doesnt update the healthbar. I think its because of the jeep_effects script which I havent dug into yet.
