Twice now as I enter my map while testing I have seen it say that someone left the game. I have screenshots of it and Im curious about it. I am running my game from the launcher.

One name was DerScharfe and the other was [PRO] Adisel.

I have seen a name here very close to the first one.....

Does anyone know what this is all about???

Those are gremlins, the waw tools are full of them.

Anyone else have a theory?

I've had that a few times, i think when u r running ur map u can appear on the server list so people try and connect, they leave shortly after as the download speeds of your map are very slow.

I have had a fellow clan member try and join thinking i was on a genuine server before, nothing to worry about.

Your online profile is tracking people in your "friends" list, and telling you they've either connected or left the game (online that is).

You may not always know them, as they can invite you to their list, but mistakenly think your someone else. I have loads of people in my friends list who I have never heard of.

Guess I wont worry about the WaW gremlins then....but in the words of Kurt Cobain, "Just cause you're not paranoid doesn't mean they're not after you!"
