Hi folks, sorry if this has been dealt with previous. I have done a search first. My problem is an increasing number of times I try to join a game online I get this error message.




Anyone know of a cure? I should add that sometimes I can join a game no problem.

when this happens drop console by pressing the button above tab on your keyboard then type /reconnect

Last night I tried the suggestion above but it didnt work. I guess I will just have to live with having to close the game and restart. (this sometimes gets me on a server)

I just wanted to ask further, does anyone know the actual "cause" of this error? if I knew that then maybe I could work out a solution.

I Get this Error quite often. I can't seem to figure out what's causing it. Do you have the game on steam? The only Fix i could come up with is to restart the game. I think it's just an issue treyarch/steam have to solve.

Maybe it's to do with the profile not logging in/authenticating properly with the Activision main server. You could try checking exceptions on your firewall and even logging off and on to your profile a few times. If it persists and won't allow you to connect and I would call Activision support as they're pretty good at solving issues.

I think this happens to most people, i'm guessing its just one of the drawbacks of treyarch deciding to use one main master server to handle account info as well as all server info etc. It's gotta struggle sometimes right?

i get that error very rarely the more common thing for me is me and my brother ant connect to any same server cause it will boot us both, yet we can play seperate servers. i thought it was a duplicate ip problem with the clan i play with, but his duplicate ips are enabled and the ips on our computers are different, the router doesnt use its own ip each ports uses seperate ips i tried resetting it but no go, any ideas as to what i can do to fix it? had the same problem on cod4 but it went away magically lol, now its back >.<

Hi I just recently started getting that error or another one stating duplicate q port. Either way this started as soon as I bought a new belkin router. So I know the problem must be there I'm just not sure how to fix it yet. Any help would be appreciated, thanx
