Can you select 2 or more prefabs youve made & save them as one prefab, or will this cause problems? If you can save several as one, is there a reasonable limit before it would cause problems?

Another related thing, why is the red cube prefab marker sooo far away from some of the centers of my prefabs & is there a way to adjust this?

i suspect that nested prefabs cause long waiting periods for loading the .map files during the bsp compile, but i can't confirm this.

the origin marker should appear where the prefab's (0,0,0) coord is.
if you put something at (64, 64, 0) in your prefab map and load it into another map, the marker will appear at (-64, -64, 0) relative to the object you put in the prefab.

Thanks for the reply. Just so long as it doesnt cause any conflict in the map when it's distributed, it's ok if it takes longer to compile.

everything is fine if it compiles. the whole geometry is joined together to one BSP. it can actually not cause any conflicts once compiled.
